
Biography
Professor Matt Villalobos started his martial arts journey from a young age, practicing multiple arts including Tae Kwon Do and Judo. From 2004-2006 he competed with the Oregon State Judo Club. Wanting to continue with the martial arts he started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai under Professor Shawn Williams and Kru John Spezzano in 2011. Matt received his black belt in March 2020 from Professor Williams and his Brown Pra-Jiad from Kru Algernon Lanier in late 2020. Outside of martial arts, he is a board certified orthopedic specialist in Physical Therapy.
Professor Matt currently teaches the Jiu Jitsu All Levels NoGi classes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7pm.
